This short video of the steam train Eric Treacy at Grosmont station on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway was produced, directed, extensively written and narrated by me.

Eric Treacy is a Stanier Black Five 45428 and was built as LMS 5428 in 1937 by Sir W. G. Armstrong Whitworth Engineers Ltd (as locomotive works no. 1483 at the Scotswood Works in Newcastle-on-Tyne. The name ERIC TREACY was added in its post British Railways heritage days.

This is Eskdale on the North Yorkshire Moors, England between the villages of Danby (left) and Lealholm. The river is the River Esk flowing to Whitby and the railway is the Middlesborough to Whitby line

The noise is the wind blowing and the trains horn at the end

In response to questions about the area this is a video I took principally for myself but its here for you to view

I had just left the car park at Castleton on the North Yorkshire Moors and stopped at the seat to take a photo. At the start you can see the smoke from the heather they were burning

Sorry for the shakes, I was stood on heather and a strong breeze was blowing (you can hear the wind)
