Il fiordo Ultima Speranza visto da Puerto Natales.
Il nome viene dall'esploratore Juan Ladrillero che catalogò, in uno dei suoi viaggi, come “ultima speranza” la possibilità che questo fiordo collegasse gli oceani Pacifico e Atlantico.
Ladrillero non ha mai trovato lo stretto di Magellano.

The Last Hope Fjord seen from Puerto Natales.
The name comes from the explorer Juan Ladrillero who cataloged, in one of his travels, as "last hope" the possibility that this fjord would connect the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
Ladrillero has never found the Strait of Magellan.
