This is a 6 shot panorama of the Orion Nebula & Barnard's Loop reflecting on the surface of Lake Thetis in Cervantes, 2.5 hours north of Perth in Western Australia.

Lake Thetis is known for its stromatolites, some of the oldest lifeforms on earth, similar to the thrombolites I've photographed several times at Lake Clifton.

Also prominent in this image are Lambda Orionis, the large circular nebula party obscured by the horizon, the Rosette Nebula and Cone Nebula to the right of centre as well as the Seagull Nebula at the very top.
