I was watching a group of Fallow Deer one evening at Dunham, there were a couple of Fawns with the group. All of a sudden they all bolted as there was a big splash next to them. One of the Fawns had fallen into the water, I was a good distance from them, the fawn was thrashing around in the water clearly struggling. Just as I was putting the camera down ro run over, it managed to get out of the pond. But ran like the clappers, clearly shocked by what had just happened. Managed a few decent shots as it flew past me, looking all wet and bedraggled.
