This was a real bonus, we had gone to try and get images of an inversion and the hill we were on had a lot of wooded areas, the mist kept rolling in and as sunrise happened the woods were filled with fabulous golden light

This years trip to the Isle of Skye provided me with the best conditions I have had at Eilean Donan. Of our group I was the only one that decided to go for a sunrise shot at this classic location, As i arrived a number of squalls were passing through and the light and drama made me very grateful for my decision
