Time for a little rant! We had met up at Chesterton Windmill for our first real trip out since lockdown started, The sunset was OK but not spectacular but the sky had cleared d there was the promise of some astro shots.
We had had to wait for it to go dark and for the sunset watchers and weed smokers to depart, we set up waiting for the starfield to appear and just as it was getting dark enough two people appeared and set up their astrophotography telescope. Where the rant starts is where they decided to set up, knowing we were there. What makes it worse is that I suspect they were a couple that had been not far from us taking photos as the blue hour progressed. They could have set up anywhere as we were in a big field, but no, they set up right in our shots and proceeded to wander around with red head torches on. The final straw came as we decided to give up and started to move out of the field using our torches only for them to have a go at us for using torches!! I have to say that I have a very powerful torch and I was able to light the windmill up all the way back to the car, juvenile I know, but it made me feel better.
Geoff used the title on his shot and I thought it appropriate
