This is a location I have wanted to photograph for many years, a short trip to Cornwall provided me with the opportunity. However, a sense of foreboding came over me as I drove down the M5 and the overhead Gantry's were warning of severe weather on the south west. I knew a storm was coming in and I also knew there was a spot that was sheltered that would give me an angle on the Engine houses. What i hadn't factored in was the thick sea mist that came with the rain. So i had driving rain, poor visibility, flat grey sky and no light, not the best of conditions.
