Hi All!

A few days ago I stayed away from the beaten path (i.e.people) and walked within the forested area of a local park. Without much adieu, a Downy female posed to show me her brown feathers, something I've not seen before. Have any of you?

Thanks a million for stopping by and for your comments. I do love hearing from you! Havea wonderful day!

The beach was a great place for the osprey to gather seaweed or sticks for their nests.

I think this great blue heron was thinking he was getting a fillet-o-fish but instead found the whopper! He had a hard time with this guy, even hitting it on a rock to kill it. It doesn't look appetizing to me.

Taken yesterday after working from home at a local place I go to. it was sunny, raining, hail, sunny all in a hour!
