During an boating adventure with Tide Rip Grizzly Tours to Glendale Cove off Knight Inlet, we had the fortuitous opportunity of spending 5 minutes with a magnificent Mountain Lion (Puma concolor) perched on the shoreline staring at us in the boat while we did the same to it.
I was fortunate that I had my camera ready and on a tripod so we drifted closer to this lovely creature while I rapidly captured multiple images of it. It was truly a remarkable opportunity and just proves the point that you must always be prepared for the unexpected.
This round trip daily tour was based out of Telegraph Cove on the north end of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
