A beautiful spring sunset with light and colors bouncing across the lake. This stairwell at Banks Township Park lead us down toward the shores of Lake Michigan. It is a beautiful evening along the Breezeway.

Surf Scoters nest in the far north where boreal forest gives way to tundra. They are most easily found in migration and winter, when they occur along ocean coasts, bays, and estuaries. Migrants can occur on lakes and reservoirs inland, especially as they wait out bad weather.

Thanks to all who take the time to view, comment on and favor my images. It is very much appreciated.

One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

The Golden-collared Honeycreeper is an uncommon resident of humid montane forests of the Andes, from southern Colombia south to southeastern Peru. Its behavior is similar to that of many other species of small tanagers: singles or pairs forage for fruit and insects in the forest midstory and canopy, and usually are associated with mixed-species flocks dominated by other species of small tanagers. Picture taken at Amagusa Reserve - Ecuador.

Thanks a lot for your visits, comments, faves, invites, etc. Very much appreciated!
