The Black-capped Chickadee is not a rare bird on the top of photographer list but it makes it up for this in its attitude and friendly disposition. Charming, cheery, and extremely comfortable with human presence, it got it all in a tiny boisterous package.

A truly northern bird, the Boreal Chickadee lives almost exclusively throughout the boreal forests of Canada and Alaska, even as far north as the Arctic Circle.

Boreal Chickadee is a hardy permanent resident of the boreal forests of Canada and Alaska. I find that this species is much less easily spotted and observed, unlike its close relative, the Black-capped Chickadee.

Black-capped Chickadee struck a pose against the snow background @ Grey Nuns White Spruce forest, St Albert, Alberta.

We have just returned from our fantastic vacation with our family including our darling granddaughter at Disney World in Orlando. I haven't checked Flickr for a while and it surely will take me a few days to catch up with my Flickr friends. Thank you so much for your visits and comments. They are very much appreciated.
