Bobcat (Lynx rufus)

During the pandemic lockdown I decided to set up a bird feeding station. As I spend maybe 2 hours a day at most watching the area, I set up a trap cam. Every morning I look forward to see what stopped by.

I think this buck was coming down the slope to the bird bath (bottom right corner) and was spooked by the camera IR light. The light is not very bright but certainly noticeable in the dark.

During the pandemic lockdown I decided to set up a bird feeding station on the slope above my house. I started with a box feeder, a tube feeder and a birdbath. I feel I might have become a tad obsessed. Three months later I have 4 tube feeders, 2 suet feeders and a large box feeder. I've also moved two downed trees (damn bark beetle) and several stumps into the area. I really need to stay off Amazon :))

Watch with audio on, turns out Skunks can screech :))

Another installment in my feeding station nocturnal "goings on." I have set my trail cam to take a still and then video. When I saw the still I thought cool, Pepe (yes I named him after the Looney Tunes Skunk) brought a friend. The video shows they are anything but friends.
