I made my way south down HWY 25 in New Mexico. I headed to a place called "City Of Rocks State Park". I got there and was lucky to get one of the last camping sites. I got my camp set up and scouted out a few locations near my camp. I ended up doing three compositions. This is the 2nd composition I found in the area I was shooting. There are hundreds of options here. This is one of those places where you can shoot for many nights and never shoot the same composition. In this image, I warmed the Milkyway to a more natural color to match the foreground. The glow is from Las Cruces NM.

I use three Z96 LED lights to illuminate the different areas in the scene
