Mural and architectural detail taken from the North end of Main Street, late in the afternoon. Surely a more dedicated art historian could come up with details on the artist and architect. I only had 10 minutes to get back to the restaurant in time for our reservation. Maybe I’ll get back, but you know, way leads on to way.

Two murals from the North end of Main Street, taken late in the afternoon, each several stories high, presented with some perspective correction.
The one on the right, "La Shamana," by Spanish artist Lula Goce, depicts a Latina scientist on the Republic Building, 1018 Preston St. It was inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development goal of protecting and restoring life on land.

The one on the left is labeled Adry del Rocio, CarlosAlberto_art. del Rocio and Alberto are both muralists, didn’t find this image on either website. Might be an homage by him, or a collaboration, I guess.

This one—on the side of the Scanlan building at 405 Main St—titled "Social Equity," by German artist Case Maclaim, was inspired by a kid named Houston riding his bike. The artist’s signature is visible in the shadow half-way up. “Was the kid named after the city or the general?” I wonder.
