its incredible really how animal behavior can change. How can you go from a bird that spots every movement and spooks if you so much as twitch the lens to a bird that sits about for 20 minutes preening itself then feeding despite me grabbing a couple of shots using flash. I guess it demonstrates how our perception of the environment differs from the animals we watch. I sat there for ages just enjoying the moment too dark to take any pics just nice to enjoy but couldn't resist a shot as he moved to another perch. no reaction at all just like a flash of lightning i guess.
