On a night when I've never seen so many tripods and cameras on the beach, finally most people made their way back to their cars, but I just couldn't leave as the sky kept shouting for one last photo. This is for Anthony, who was just along the coast at Rhossili, I know he loves Bruce Springsteen, even though my version on my playlist is sung by Badly Drawn Boy.

Another shot from my first beach visit back in Wales, after my Sussex trip! The night really welcomed me back in spectacular style. Once the sun sank below the horizon the various clouds all took turns in changing colour, quite mesmerising, so Faraway eyes, A Rolling Stones cover by The Handsome Family is perfect, I'm always looking to see if the sun will show!

Another wild windy day that was bitingly cold, and drove away all the dog walkers. I had the beach to myself, and watched the clouds skating across the sky. It was like my own personal television, with the volume turned up. Reflection of the television is by The Twilight Sad

I had a superb night last night, wandering the beach in a grey evening, waiting for anything to develop. The bad news was that I managed to miss my footing and tweak a muscle in my calf, which is not ideal, as I'm meant to be running the Cardiff Half Marathon, and haven't done any training yet, and it's on the 1st of October. The good news was the clouds performed late on and sent an invitation to the beach for a reply. As I drove home this Half Man Half Biscuit song came up on my playlist, and cheered me up , so R.S.V.P. it is.

I loved the almost dinosaur shaped feature on the beach, so Strange encounter by Father John Misty is perfect. You never know what awaits as you walk the sands. It's interesting to think that Icthyosaurs actually swam around when these rocks were laid down, as fossils have been found nearby.
