After a very hot day in the capital, with a highest of 99F (37ºC), we had to wait until 22:25 h to see this red Full Moon of July (Buck Moon) rising above the horizon. At the moment of taking this picture, from home, the temperature outside was of nothing less than 90F (32ºC).
The Full Moon in July is the Buck Moon, named after the new antlers that emerge from a buck's forehead around this time of the year. It is also called Thunder Moon, Hay Moon, and Wort Moon.
Using my telezoom at 400 mm I got this picture, though the quality, probably due the hot air in the atmosphere and the light pollution, is not the best as I would have liked.
What you see in the picture is the industrial area in San Fernando de Henares, a town in the surroundings of Madrid.

Después de un día muy caluroso en la capital, con una temperatura máxima de 37ºC, tuvimos que esperar hasta las 22:25 h para ver esta luna llena roja de julio (Buck Moon) elevándose sobre el horizonte. En el momento de tomar esta fotografía, desde casa, la temperatura exterior era de nada menos que 32ºC.
La Luna Llena en julio es conocida como la "luna del ciervo", llamada así por las nuevas cornamentas que emergen de la testuz de un ciervo en esta época del año. También se llama Thunder Moon, Hay Moon y Wort Moon.
Utilizando mi telezoom a 400 mm obtuve esta imagen, aunque la calidad, probablemente debido al aire caliente en la atmósfera y la contaminación lumínica, no es la mejor que me hubiera gustado.
Lo que ves en la foto es la zona industrial de San Fernando de Henares, una ciudad en los alrededores de Madrid.
