This Urban fox kit is one of six. The actual den is under a shipping container. It is a challenging area to shoot in as there are fences, tangles of brush; and a couple of items that have been illegally dumped.

However, if patient, the subject can be separated from the cluttered background to some degree.

The remains of a Canada Goose (!!!) is somewhat visible behind the kit.

One of a pair of swans in a farm pond beside Richmond Road just east of Hwy 15 A large truck drove by noisily causing the pair to launch into flight.

I caught this one just about to become completely airborne. I was amazed at how long a run they needed.

Because of the severe and variable cloud cover, the composite is not symmetrical as I had to cherry pick from my images.

Still, it shows the beginning of the eclipse and nearing totality; maximum totality and a few post totality segments.

I leave it to the viewer, but it still makes for a compelling overview of the solar eclipse event.

On my way down to the St. Lawrence to photograph the eclipse, I came upon these two swans in a farm pond on Richmond Road, a few Km East of Hwy 15.

Since I had time in hand I turned around and stopped to take some images
