This Tom appeared the other day with a Jake (young male) and seven ladies in tow.
He was a riot to watch as he strutted about my yard.
He is still around as of this morning, but has lost the Jake and two ladies!

After failing to find the fox kits out playing (and with the start of heavy rain); I went to Mud Lake to meet a couple of visiting friends (bringing the downpour with me, of course).
There wasn't much around but there were several male woodies; and one lone female.
This one had been chasing several other ducks and then did a magnificent wing stretch.
The rain continued to pelt down!!

This Urban fox kit is one of six. The actual den is under a shipping container. It is a challenging area to shoot in as there are fences, tangles of brush; and a couple of items that have been illegally dumped.
However, if patient, the subject can be separated from the cluttered background to some degree.
