In April 2017 I made a trip to the region Kaiserstuhl in the west of Germany (under the Black Forest). It is a sunny region with many fruit trees and vineyards. The fruit trees were in full bloom.

Castle from late Roman times near Jechtigen, Germany. It is on the borders of the Rhine, which forms the border with France. People have been living in the keep (the tower) for centuries now.
