The twelve-meter sculpture by Jaume Plensa called Julia arrived in December 2018 at the Plaza de Colón.

The work of the famous sculptor, with the sponsorship of the María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation and the collaboration of the Madrid City Council - which have renewed the agreement so that this unique work of art remains exhibited in Madrid until December 2024 (extendable for three more years , until December 2027) -, sits on the pedestal formerly occupied by the statue of the navigator Christopher Columbus. LA BELLA JULIA TODAVÍA CON NOXOTROS, 2023

La escultura de doce metros de Jaume Plensa llamada Julia llegó en diciembre de 2018 a la Plaza de Colón.

La obra del famoso escultor, con el patrocinio de la Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson y la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Madrid -que han renovado el convenio para que esta obra de arte única siga expuesta en Madrid hasta diciembre de 2024 (prorrogable por tres años más, hasta diciembre de 2027)-, se asienta sobre el pedestal que antiguamente ocupaba la estatua del navegante Cristóbal Colón.
