Rocks leading to the Artist Point in the Grand Marais harbor.

Originally an Ojibwe village, Grand Marais was an important trading post for the French voyageurs who, clearly, gave it the name. Today it remains a quaint little town with a picturesque harbor. Touristy, but not too much.

Thank you everyone for your comments while I have been off here, due the passing of my Dad just 2 days ago. There is so much for me to do from looking after my Mom, to clearing their house and getting it ready for it to sell, etc. etc. etc. Thank you all for commenting while I'm grieving. I don't have time to comment on your photos at the moment. There is too much for me to do. Hopefully next week, I can post more photos in between all my responsibilities. I'm so so thankful for those of you who know what I'm going through right now. Thank you.I will respond more next week.
