A ten frame, stitch panorama of the Milky Way rising over Skeleton Point from the rocks at Harbour Point, Binalong Bay, Tasmania.
The night after these frames were taken, there was a massive Aurora Australis that made this 'normal' image of the Milky Way seem pale by comparison.
For various reasons I've been really busy but decided to give this image a run anyway.
I'm pretty happy with the new noise reduction in LR/ACR, it seems pretty good and handles the longer exposures fine. The rocks in the foreground are lit by streetlights off to the right.
Nikon Z6, Nikkor Z 20mm f/1.8, 20 secs at f/2, ISO 3200.
