Bird, unknown. Had a couple of hours spare yesterday so went to a Farm/Garden Centre which is only approx 40 minutes drive away. Have known this place for more years than I care to remember but only found out very recently that it had a bird hide free to use. At a squeeze it holds 5 people seated.
Thoroughly enjoyed the couple of hours spent there, must have seen at least a dozen different species there, was also told Roe & Muntjac deer are regular day time visitors there.

One of the previous images I've uploaded from our trip to Isle of Harris & Lewis is the 'Scottish Panorama'. Well this shot was taken from the same spot, in fact I hadn't moved the tripod. Basically I'd zoomed the new Sigma 00-400 lens to it's maximum to see what sort of result it gave, must say I wasn't disappointed.
Taken just outside of Ullapool on the NC500 route.
Shot at f13, ISO 125 & 1/60th sec.

Although I've more Isle of Lewis & Harris images to upload, thought I'd have a change, hence this image.
The weather here in the UK as been very wet this year and last Sunday was no exception, so I decided to do some macro shots.
