The local library monthly book challenge for April was to read a book set in a famous place.
I had already started this book, which was given to me by my elderly friend from camera club. We have been sorting through his enormous book collection, and he was reading this at the time. I mentioned I'd be interested in reading it, so he passed it on to me.
I have set it up with five tealight candles in the shape of a pentangle, as shown on the cover. This was an element used in the story.
A murder mystery set in New England in the 1800's, quite an intriguing book.

Progress on the beach textile art picture. Free motion machine embroidery on the sea, sand and hedge. Appliqued beach huts added.
Ready for the final stage, adding hand sewn embellishments of beach litter fishing string (i.e. ruining the whole thing!).
