Rufous owl (Ninox rufa rufa)

Not an artistic looking picture, but documenting one of only (so far) 5 times I've seen an owl in the wild.

I do wish that I brought a good flash defuser though to make the image less flat, but you get what you can get.

RIP flying fox.

Freshwater crocodile (Crocodylus johnsoni)

I figured that this old matey would look good in black and white with a high contrast because of the intricate patterning all over its skin. I also did a non standard crop ratio to it for a bit if interest.

I don't know if I was right for the majority of people, but I like it (at least right now).
