I recently took my "Yashica Partner" from the shelf that I used the last time back in 1988. This is a plastic camera with a fixed focus 38mm f/4 lens and fixed shutter speed. You have to guess the exposure by selecting "sunny", "partly sunny", or "cloudy" symbols on the aperture ring (I guess about five f/stops from f/4 down to f/16). A ring on the lens barrel allows to select two film speeds, ISO400 and ISO100. The sharpness of the lens is acceptable but there might be vignetting visible on some pictures. The film transport works reliable. I received this camera as a birthday gift in 1984 or 1985 as a 12 or 13 year old and it is still in a "like-new" condition. This camera is a toy, but I think that the pictures that it takes are not that bad at all.
