Presque Full Frame...

Une après-midi incroyable et ensoleillée et chaude une des rares lors de mon séjour de l'hiver 2019. J'ai eu la chance de suivre les déplacement et la chasse de ce merveilleux oiseau. Ce Faucon Pélerin n'était pas bagé et très farouche à mes premières approches, ils chassait les canards et Foulque d'Amérique dans les basins d'eau et se perchait à mon gran désarrois sur les poteau électrique !!! Parfaitement logique puisque ce sont les points les plus élevés dans cet environnement plutôt plat. Voici donc quelques images de ce
mâle ou femelle ? Désolé pour la perche qui est plutôt ordinaire...

An amazing and sunny afternoon hot, one of the few during my stay in California during the winter of 2019. I had the chance to follow the movement and hunting Peregrine Falcon. This Peregrine Falcon was not banded and very fierce at my first approaches, he or she hunted ducks and American Coot in the water pools, He or she perched at my great dismay on the electric pole! Perfectly logical since that was the highest points in this rather flat environment. So here are some pictures of this male or female? Sorry not a great perch on that one...

De retour à cette magnifique Chouette Épervière et cette merveilleuse avant-midi avec elle. La voici avec une proie qu'elle venait tout juste de capturer, je dois avouer que c'est toute une chasseuse cette chouette et ça moyen de réussite est très impressionnante... Elle n'a pas mangé sa proie mais a préférée la cacher pour des temps plus difficiles.

Back to this magnificent Northern Hawk Owl and to this wonderful morning with her. Here she is with a prey that she had just captured, I must admit that it is quite a hunter this owl and its average of success is very impressive ... She did not eat her prey but preferred to hide it for hard times.

Suite de hiver 2020 pas beaucoup d'oiseaux chez moi. Voici le trouble fait qui a délogé mon magnifique Cardinal mâle de sa perche... Un Corvidé très intelligent et dominant au mangeoir, le Geai bleu... Je dois à sa défense avoué qu'il est magnifique dans ce froid et sous cette neige....

Follow up to my winter 2020 not many birds at home. Here is the trouble maker that dislodged my magnificent male Cardinal from his perch ... A very intelligent and dominant Corvid at the feeders, the Blue Jay ... I most admitted to is defense that he is magnificent in that cold and snowy weather...
