A few months ago from the top of the Vanderbilt Tower, late evening. Took a similar shot last year but this has warmer light.

Tried to explore some of the grungier side of New York this time. Had this nice friendly greeting in the East Village.

We've just had an installation in town called 'Luminarium'. It was made up of several large plastic pods linked together by 'tunnels' of light you had to walk through in bare feet (had to take your shoes off on entering). It was beautiful and quite surreal. I didn't know this woman but she seemed to encapsulate the whole thing.

Took the subway to Harlem to see this underpass that I'd come across in a book. Didn't expect the poser on the motorbike! I was a bit nervous at first but we got talking and he was great.
