Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi

This project is going to prove quite difficult to complete. I only upgraded to a full frame camera in late 2013 with Cape Town being my first major shoot. This is before that purchase and shot with my Canon 20D so image quality might not be of the highest standard but so what!

I can only think of two images that represents Abu Dhabi – the first being the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which my images don’t do full justice to the building (I would vote this the #1 must see attraction if you ever visit Abu Dhabi) and the second – the Yas Marina circuit and this stunning hotel that straddles the race track.

When we visited it was named The Viceroy, but now it has been rebranded as the “W Abu Dhabi” under the ownership of the Marriott Bonvoy chain.
