A series of candlelight concerts run by feverup.com in unique locations around the world. This is the second one we’ve been to and although not everyone’s cup of tea, you can’t grumble at the location or the price of £25 per ticket.

The subject of this particular concert was Science Fiction and Fantasy film scores performed by piano and violin. Some pieces like “Time” from Inception and “Ice Dance” from Edward Scissorhands worked really well as a duo, whereas “Sprach Zarathustra” from 2001: A Space Odyssey didn’t have the gravitas of a full orchestral sound.

Deliberately went early to capture a few snaps of the old girl before the concert started… unfortunately, so did everybody else. The colour version looks a bit gaudy, so I’ve gone with the mono treatment instead.
