Everyone seems to have had their fill of London shots from last weekend and I'm no exception, although there might be one or two more to post. The Easter bank holiday weather has lived up to expectations again and stuck two fingers up to us all here in the North West.
Friday was raining but that was ok as finishing a few jobs off around the house. Saturday - went into Manchester to recky some locations for a possible next meet-up (more of that in a later posting) which I think could be quite challenging to all. Sunday - it looked overcast when we got up, drizzly when we set off and rained throughout the visit... Peter Kay weather we call it - you know the sort of fine rain that wets you through.
I will say, however, make a note of the day.... Easter Sunday, chocolate eggs and a hunt organised by Cadburys doesn't make for nice people free landscape shots. It was packed with the little darlings and this image hides the 20+ people on the right pointing at a wooden painted Kingfisher on the left bank. But there are some nice viewpoints to be taken with the right sky, so another (out of school hols) visit is on the cards.
On the way home called in at the Manchester Airport's Runway Visitor Park. Five quid for two hours with plane spotters in the pissing rain - it's hard to say it was fun but I did enjoy shooting in continuous mode at any plane that landed, took-off and taxied but that's left me with 16GB of rubbish to delete!
