Inaugurée début 2024 après deux ans et demi de travaux, ce nouveau terminal des arrivées de l’aéroport Roland Garros a ouvert ses 13 000 m² le 26 mars aux premiers voyageurs. Toit en forme de vague, ventilation naturelle ou encore plantes suspendues, il est le premier bâtiment bioclimatique en milieu tropical. Plus grand et plus aéré, le bâtiment peut accueillir 1500 voyageurs en même temps contre 800 auparavant. 91% des entreprises ayant travaillé sur le nouveau terminal sont réunionnaises.

Inaugurated at the start of 2024 after two and a half years of work, this new arrivals terminal at Roland Garros airport opened its 13,000m² on March 26 to the first travelers. With a wave-shaped roof, natural ventilation and even hanging plants, it is the first bioclimatic building in a tropical environment. Larger and more airy, the building can accommodate 1,500 travelers at the same time compared to 800 previously. 91% of the companies having worked on the new terminal are from Reunion.
