Jubilee 45690 "Leander" gets away from Haverthwaite and passes Ivatt 46441 awaiting its next turn of duty in the siding. This was a rare chance to catch The Beet families two engines together during the Jubilees short visit to the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway.
46441 has had its livery change from red to black in PS.

Nice to see a pair of Lesser Redpolls visit the garden earlier this week, the first I have seen since we have lived here. They were feeding on the Verbena Bonariensis seed heads which we fortunately have not cut back yet. May leave them a few more weeks.
