Nighttime magic above Monaco! Capturing the moment, as the moon rises behind the Maybourne Riviera hotel, from 2 km away was truly enchanting. The moon's gentle glow bathes the iconic hotel in an enchanting light, creating a dreamy scene against the night sky. A celestial moment that needs no stars to shine.

Happy new all !
Starting 2024 with a new version of the very classical shot of the Andromeda Galaxy M31.
I shot the same target 3 years ago, but shot it again to compare between my old 76EDPH (now stollen) scope and the my new ASKAR APO 103 with 0.6 reducer.
Still using the Sony A7s Astrodoninside.
160x30s Iso 3200 using ASIAIR

Here is a widefield astrophotography featuring the bright and clustered stars of the Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters, set against the hazy and ethereal glow of the California Nebula. The Pleiades, located in the constellation Taurus and known as Messier 45 (M45) in the Messier catalog, is a well-known and easily recognizable open star cluster, known for its bright and blue stars. The California Nebula, named for its resemblance to the shape of the state of California and designated as NGC 1499 in the New General Catalogue (NGC), is a faint and diffuse emission nebula located in the constellation Perseus. The combination of these two celestial objects in this single photograph makes for a striking and awe-inspiring image, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the night sky. I'm not saying this picture is out of this world, but it's definitely not from this planet! The stars in the Pleiades are so bright that they should be called the Seven Supermodels of the sky.

Shot with Sony A7s Astromodified and Sigma 100-400 @100mm and F/5
191x30s stacked on SIRIL
