Something a little different and a map of Ipstones. This was commissioned by a local group to stand on a plinth outside the village hall as a map to guide visitors.

It was hand drawn by wifey with the brief to including local businesses, shops, public houses, community spaces, footpaths and any building with any importance. It was drawn on an A2 piece of paper using various mediums.

I photographed the artwork as a flat lay using the Z8 in pixel shift mode. This basically takes 32 images, moving the sensor for each RAW image to create a high resolution image. Going from 46 megapixels to circa 180 megapixels! I've cleaned up some creases and imperfections in PS and off to the printers it went.

They've used my TIF file that was 1.5Gb!, added some blurb and we've also added some QR codes that link to the history of the village, listed buildings and local business who wanted to advertise.

I can't share the finished article as the printers have copyrighted it but rest assured once it's in situ I will.

Super proud of wifey as this will be at the centre of the village for many years to come :) Have a zoom around, the detail is immense....

14/30 - Bits of Bottles

I had 2 busy days over the weekend and my system of stacking up bottles failed, as I photographed the same pink bottle 2 days running .... I did manage to change the clear one tho :))

Crumbs, I got 14 pics of the Shard last Saturday ... sorry for them all at once, this is the last one for now.

I'm oft to London again tomorrow, but I'm not expecting to get many pics for the 100x project.
