Commissioned with a Beacon in 1936 by the Ministry of Air, and produced according to an alternative Project presented in 1937, its Construction began in 1938
The Entry into War of France the following Year, leaves it incomplete and almost abandoned until 1960, when the Memorial Committee of Maurice NOGUÈS and his Companions is founded
It was completed at the end of the '60s, faithful to the Plans of Emile BERTHELOT and Georges BOVET, before falling again into Oblivion until its Renovation in 2003
