Golden Plover in Weardale. He was hiding amongst the grasses, so I couldn't get a clear shot. This is my first ever sighting of one of these, so I am not complaining!

There were four Kentish Plover chicks running around the sand bank, like naughty little children, with mum and dad in hot pursuit!
