Taken in Hill Country. I had great views of the male and female here along with Orchards. This little lady was soon pushed off her perch by a male Varied Bunting but she quickly regained her spot.

I saw many of these guys here one of them had plowed it's face right into painful cactus thorns when he was trying to drink the pollen. He was obviously blind and sick, poor little guy. This guy was doing a lot better, they are striking birds like big bumblebees as they move around and pollinate.
