I saw Citrine, White, Eastern Yellow and Gray Wagtails during this trip. Citrine was a lifer for me and taken at Chiang Saen Lake where we saw some Ferruginous Ducks.

Saw 3 of these guys at Hastings Creek off Council Rd. They never perched just continuously hawked for food.

Mark Wynja discovered this extreme rarity at 34 St and 33a in Ladner, BC.
As you can see the bird blended in very well with the muddy corn fields! The bird was with a flock with about 70 American Pipits and best views were had with a scope.

This bird breeds in much of Europe and Asia and parts of North Africa. It is found in North America during the summer in Alaska.

This is an uncommon subspecies in Northern Thailand. It was seen in Fang and is a winter passage migrant.This was the only Ocularis I saw during my trip.

This is the Chinese or Leucopsis subspecies.It is also called the Amur Wagtail. White Wagtails were rampant all over Thailand and this subspecies was the most common one I saw.
