Saw 3 of these guys at Hastings Creek off Council Rd. They never perched just continuously hawked for food.

Taken along Council Rd. These guys are so cute. They are related more closely to Goats and Sheep than cattle. I saw hundreds of them in large herds including several calves like this one. This trip was the first time I had ever seen a wild Muskox and it didn't dissappoint in the slightest.

When mom was off hunting I was able to capture her chicks boy were they cute. I've never been this close to a Golden Eagle nest in my life. Truly the most thrilling moment.

Seeing this Golden Eagle nest so close was the most special experience of my whole birding life. This nest had 2 Eaglets and I was able to see both of them and the gorgeous female. This female kept her eye on me the whole time. The bird was photographed and I left quickly once the mother returned as to not disturb her. I was so honoured to be in her regal presence. I have seen several Golden Eagles before but to be this close to a nest was something I'd never experienced before and a true privilege.
