I got to see this little Antpitta at Wildsumaco Lodge. He is called "Shakira" by the locals for the way that he twists his hips before he feeds. It is the cutest thing ever. Watch this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxPeoaN_7tA to get an idea about why he is called "Shakira". It was a fun experience seeing him. He came to the lodge where they put down worms for him. When I was watching him I got to see some other rare birds that came with him. The White-crowned Tapaculo, Spotted Nightingale-Thrush, Grey-cheeked Thrush and Plain-backed Antpitta came as well.

Without lodges feeding Antpittas they are extremely hard and secretive birds to see.
