This girl has saved and alerted me from many dangers including bears. She goes birding and camping with me everywhere I can. She respects birds and wildlife, and even frequently points out birds to me. I thought I would honor her with a photo today. 9 years ago to the day, I found her at 6 weeks old at the SPCA in Quesnel. She has a lot more white in the face now but just as lovely. Time sure flies when you're having fun!.

My little Heinz 57 who is 6 lbs and smaller than my adult cat. Got her at the Vancouver SPCA 8 years ago. She got groomed today and they gave her a cute bow..so had to snap a pic!

These birds have given me so much joy I used to watch them every day after work while living in SK. They have inspired me constantly through the years. This is my first painting which I have given to my father and mother to hang in their home.
