Lake Como, The village of Varenna and the mountain range called Muncech; the highest summit (below the cloud) is named Pizzo Cavregasco.

Took this from a place that is just ten minutes of driving from the facility where I work, but 50km from my home. One of my colleagues knew that I was looking for a tele lens, and he is trying to sell me this camera with a 50-200mm. Therefore, I spent less than ten minutes trying the baby; this is the shot that I prefer; the price is less than I would pay for a tele for my Sony... I will think about it... if it wasn't for some enormous dust spot on that sensor: a special thanks to those clouds for hiding them :)

I was stuck in a traffic jam, and I saw this little guy that was busy, jumping up and down from the guard rail. I parked on the side of the road, I lowered the glass and I shoot this one from the window.
It was getting dark, the little bird was very nervous, and I did not want a blurred image. To use a good shutter speed I pushed the ISO up to 1600. I liked the sunset color tones and the scene.
Raw file edited by the free software Raw Therapee, a truly valid one.

This is Lake Como, alias Lario. The town you see on the other shore is named Abbadia Lariana.
Shot this during the lunch break, to get to this spot takes just ten minutes of driving from my work place.
