Autumn 2016. As days are getting shorter, the last light of the afternoon shines over the summits of the valley of Valeille.
This valley is inside the protected area of the Gran Paradiso national park.
La luce del pomeriggio, alla fine di Ottobre, splende sui monti del Vallone di Valeille, sopra ai larici tinti dei colori dell'autunno. Queste cime si trovano nell'area del parco nazionale del Gran Paradiso.

The waterfall just outside the small village of Lilllaz. There is an easy trail that takes you from the basis to the top of this cascade, where there is a nice viewpoint.
Could not use a lower shutter speed with my son in my backpack kicking me all the time.

La cascata subito a monte del paesino di Lilllaz. C'รจ un comodo sentiero per raggiungere la base della cascata e per salire poi a un punto panoramico sopra la cascata.

Shot taken from the side of Moun Freya, right below the abandoned iron mine of Colonna, at 2,400m above the sea.
The Grivola is the second summit for elevation in the Gran Paradiso range, that is inside the national park with the same name.
