An ancient tale tells the story of a Wild man, living alone in this remote place. He fought against the witches that used to terrorize the people of the valley, and he forced them to retire on the top of Corno Bianco, White Horn, the highest peak of this area.

Una vecchia leggenda Valsesiana narra di un uomo selvaggio, “Das Wilte Mandje”, che viveva in questo posto. questo strano personaggio, dopo una strenua battaglia, costrinse le streghe che infestavano la valle a tornare sulla cima del Corno Bianco, la cima più alta della zona.
