Crissolo, Cuneo. Italy.

This small sancturay, built between 1440, and 1441 A.C. is dedicated to San Chiaffredo.
Chiaffredo was a soldier of the army of the ancient Roman Empire. His legion was defeated and decimated near the actual town of Saint Maurice in Switzerland, in 286 A.C.
Chiaffredo became martyr after he had swon his loialty to the christian empire of Diocleziano and Massimiliano.

A tale tells that his remains had been found by a farmer that was looking for some of his cows, fallen from a cliff. The farmer miraculously found those cows alive, near the hidden tomb of the martyr.
