One of the attractions on the island is the visit to Casela Nature Park and the "Lion Walk". We were 12 people and 4 rangers. Previously, I was very happy to make this walk. On the walk, I just hoped that the lions were fed well before. I was not relaxed:-O. My sweetheart is afraid of the experience. In the park she was so relaxed:).
Although they are young lions, and are in daily contact with humans, they have powerful claws and teeth. They don't feel like house cats, the skin is dull like a cowskin. You can feel the muscles under their skin. They are also not always silent:).
You should follow these rules: be sober; don't wear bikini, swimwear or flip-flop; don't run; don't panic; always go behind the lion; hold the lion only at the neck and back (never at the mouth, chin or tail); always keep a stick between you and the lions; always listen to the rangers;).

Or were it quite trivial things? We will never know what this woman thought when she ran into my photo scene. Madeira, Portugal.
