The view towards Upper Eskdale and the Scafells from the Green Crag area is absolutely awesome. However I find it so difficult to photograph. The reason being there is just so much going on. The summit is very rock and there are loads of lumps and bumps to factor in. I really liked the foreground in this one however and it definitely captures the rugged nature of the landscape.

A glorious early evening on the wonderful Hardknott Fell. I loved this set of rocks which acted as a great leading line towards the wonderful Scafell Massif. I definitely think this is the best view point of the Scafells, so dramatic looking. A real favourite of mine.

The last of the evening sun warming Hardknott Fell in the Western Lake District looking towards the Scafell Massif. Probably one of my favourite views in the Lakes and one I don’t think I will ever tire of.
