Berries were floating in these bogs ready for harvest in the next day or so. The Wind has blown them to the north shore of each pond.

After shooting a project in Mauston I headed north to an area known for cranberries to the west of Wisconsin Rapids. I randomly stopped in to a place that I thought could help me find a location to shoot some berries. Found Mary, who owns Glacial Lake Cranberries and she let me out into her bogs. Turns out, she and her husband fly kites too so there must have been some good mojo that led me there.

It has been so cold and windy for the last month I have not been able to get out to do any kite flying and photography so I was digging through some images from an October photo shoot and thought I would post this view of the Cranberry harvest in central Wisconsin. Here the berries have been removed from the plant and are floating in the pond waiting to be corralled and loaded.
